Counselor, Coach, & Teacher
Looking for a therapist who understands you, and the problems you’re facing?
I work with people who feel like they’re constantly on edge, snapping at loved ones, struggling to sleep, or feeling disconnected from themselves and others. Many tell me they feel sad, angry, or just “lost”—but don’t know how to fix it.
I use evidence-based methods like Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and hypnotherapy, to name a few, to help process trauma and reduce symptoms like panic, nightmares, and emotional reactivity. I also teach practical tools to manage anxiety, improve communication, and regulate strong emotions—especially in the heat of the moment.
I served over 20 years in the Air Force, operating in high-stress and high-stakes environments. I understand what it’s like to carry invisible weight—and to keep going while feeling overwhelmed, angry, or numb inside. After serving in the military, I became a teacher and school counselor, helping kids and parents cope with anxiety and conflict.
You’ll never be forced into a “one-size-fits-all” approach. Whether you’re a veteran working through combat trauma, a parent trying to reconnect with your teen, or a first responder carrying years of wear and tear, I’ll meet you where you are and give you tools you can actually use. Together, we’ll work to make things better, not just bearable.
